St. Lawrence/FDR Power Project is in Massena, NY. My dad was "in charge" of that for a while. I still relate to my dad's job like a 5-year-old. I don't really know what he does but his title says "vice president" and it has two parts after that. I want to go in and play on the chalkboard at his office.
I could also talk about Nalgene containers in this post and/or discuss the New York State Power Authority (an undergraduate thesis topic). I'm not going to do that.

butter dish
I like the cool atomic motifs. I also like butter. Real butter. Although we try to purchase and use "fake butter," because it is healthier, I don't ever use it. Also, I find the rectangle shape ironic. This container is made to hold a specially-processed food that comes in a uniform shape. I wish butter lamb was the official shape for butter. This one even goes on vacation.

Note
This notepad was a present from my sister a few years ago.
The note on it says "touching coffee mug study." I took this note while listening to Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me. It refers to a study conducted by researchers at Ohio State University whereby they discovered that the longer people held something, the more value they ascribed to it. This confirms my theory about visitors, meaning and handling museum objects...

Clothespin
I used to hang laundry outside every week. Now, we don't have a place for a clothesline. I dislike these spring-loaded clothespins. The textural sensation of jamming the old-fashioned ones over the bulk of wet cotton and clothesline is much more satisfying.
